Illegal fencing near Pesno Lake was removed in the Pskov region.

In the Pskov region, after a prosecutor's inspection, an illegal fence near Pesno Lake was dismantled. This was reported to the Pskov News Feed by the regional prosecutor's office.

We are talking about a lake located in the Plyusky municipal district. The supervisory authority was asked to investigate the situation by residents of the village of Zapesenye, near which there is a reservoir.

It was found that unknown persons had installed a fence preventing free passage to the lake, which is a violation of the law. After the intervention of the prosecutor's office, the fence was demolished.

At the end of August, it was reported that a new pier was planned to be built on the coast of Lake Pskov in the village of Tolbitsa. The facility is expected to be built before December 25, 2025.
