The authorities of several cities in the Irkutsk region have decided to start the heating season. Heat will start flowing into the buildings on September 11.

In Bratsk, social institutions will be the first to receive heating: schools, hospitals and kindergartens. The corresponding decree was signed by Mayor Alexander Dubrovin, writes IA IrkutskMedia. Utilities will be involved in regulating the system over the weekend. Next week, heat will enter residential buildings.

In addition, on September 11, the heating season starts in the Angarsk city district.

According to the regulations, the heating season begins when the average daily temperature drops to +8 degrees for five days. In the north of the Irkutsk region, heat has been supplied to houses in the Katanga district since September 3.
