The evacuation of 73 pupils and five employees of the Matveevo-Kurgan special boarding school was carried out in the Rostov region due to an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This was announced on September 10 by the acting governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"In the Matveevo-Kurgan district, pupils and tutors of the Matveevo-Kurgan special boarding school were evacuated around midnight due to an attack by UAVs," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.
