A motorcyclist was killed in an accident involving a heavy truck on the highway near Tyumen

In the Yarkovsky district of the Tyumen region, a motorcyclist was killed and a heavy truck driver was injured in an accident. The regional State Traffic Inspectorate reports this in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, September 9, on the federal highway R-404 Tyumen – Khanty-Mansiysk. A Ural truck and a motorcycle collided, which, according to preliminary data, was moving in the oncoming lane.

As a result of the collision, a 48-year-old motorcyclist, a resident of the Yarkovsky district, was killed. According to the <url> news agency, a truck with a trailer drove into the fence from the impact. The driver was injured.

According to the traffic police, the deceased man had no right to drive a motorcycle. Other circumstances of the fatal accident are being established.

A month ago, Hyundai, ZIL and Changan collided in the Yalutorovsky district of the Tyumen region. As a result, a 16-year-old boy was killed, and two more people were injured.
