The Investigative Committee opened a case on the facts of attacks by Ukrainian militants on the settlements of the DPR

The investigation has opened a criminal case on the facts of attacks by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), as a result of which two people were killed. This was announced on September 9 by the official representative of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia Svetlana Petrenko.

"The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on the facts of attacks by Ukrainian armed formations on DPR settlements on the grounds of crimes under Part 2 of Article 105; Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2 of Article 105; Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder and attempted murder", "Intentional damage and destruction of property")," she clarified.
