Peskov declared Putin's inability to go on vacation
Russian President Vladimir Putin cannot afford a vacation. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with TASS, which was recorded at the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF-2025).
"No, he just can't afford a vacation," he said, answering a question about how Putin would celebrate his birthday on October 7.
On August 1, 2024, Peskov announced that Putin could not go on vacation, since his main work was carried out on a daily basis. The Russian leader, like all federal employees, is entitled to leave, but usually the president of the Russian Federation continues to work in the summer. In previous years, as Putin's press secretary pointed out, the head of state's schedule was literally minute by minute.
