On September 9, the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about the exploits of Russian military personnel in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

The ministry noted the actions of Corporal Pavel Tokarev, who performed combat missions as part of an intelligence group in one of the tactical areas.

During the reconnaissance activities, the corporal identified a camouflaged command post of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with firing positions. After making accurate calculations of the coordinates of the target, Tokarev transmitted data on the enemy's location to the gunners. This made it possible to carry out a targeted artillery strike, as a result of which the camouflaged enemy positions were successfully destroyed.

Thanks to his precise actions, the AFU targets were destroyed, and the Russian military were able to move forward and take up more advantageous positions.

In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry drew attention to the actions of Guard Corporal Evgeny Nosikov, who, as part of the security group, ensured the safety of property, equipment and personnel of the support platoon.

During the Guard's combat duty, the corporal discovered an enemy heavy unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) approaching the position. He immediately reported the target to the command by radio, which made it possible to quickly target the drone with air defense systems.

Thanks to timely information, the calculation of the anti-aircraft missile system successfully intercepted and destroyed the air threat.

The servicemen practiced joint operations using advanced technologies and experience gained during the special operation.

On September 8, the Russian Ministry of Defense released footage of the Mi-28NM helicopter crew performing a combat mission during a special military operation. During the mission, the helicopter crew struck the specified targets with a light multipurpose guided missile (LMUR) and aircraft missiles. According to intelligence data, the location of the Ukrainian militants was successfully hit.
