Before starting the maneuver, make sure that the distance and speed are sufficient to safely complete the overtaking.
"We remind motorists that the life and health of their passengers depend entirely on the skills, driving experience, well-being and law-abiding behavior of a person behind the wheel. Therefore, always go on a trip well rested and healthy, and before leaving, be sure to check the technical condition of your vehicle. We draw the attention of drivers to the strict observance of the rules for the safe transportation of children. Take care of your young passengers, preventing even the prerequisites for a possible tragedy," said Police Colonel Anton Belan, Deputy head of the Department for Road Safety Promotion and Prevention of Child traffic Injuries at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
Earlier, on September 4, the State Traffic Inspectorate recalled that citizens and legal entities who, on the day of their admission to Russia, permanently resided in the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR), Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, are required to replace registration documents and license plates with Russian ones by January 1, 2026.
