Strengthening cooperation at major international business platforms discussed at WEF-2025

The tenth anniversary Eastern Economic Forum was attended by representatives of the China Committee for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). In the Roscongress International Business Communication Area, the Chinese side met with Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Board and Director of the Roscongress Foundation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of business ties between Russia and China and the expansion of cooperation formats with the organization at major international business events.

"We highly appreciate our cooperation with such an important strategic partner from China. Back in 2017, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between us, which consolidated our reliable cooperation. We are always interested in further developing our joint work and will be glad to see the Chinese Committee for the Promotion of International Trade at SPIEF 2026. We also invite our Chinese colleagues to organize their stand in the Business Communication Area of Roscongress International and act as its partner," said Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Management Board and Director of the Roscongress Foundation.

"We attach great importance to the development of comprehensive cooperation between China and Russia. In many ways, we are developing new ways of development through joint work at key international venues such as the WEF and SPIEF. We consider the partnership with the Roscongress Foundation as a reliable basis for deepening our cooperation, and we are confident that we will strengthen our business ties at the Forum. In turn, we invite the Roscongress Foundation to participate in the Fourth China International Expo (CISCE) on stimulating supply chains," said Chen Jianan, Deputy Chairman of the China Committee for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

The Russian-Chinese partnership is characterized by a wide range of directions and stable dynamics of development. Practical cooperation with the China Committee for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) plays an important role in strengthening bilateral ties, including in terms of information support: the Committee actively promotes key Roscongress Foundation events among the Chinese business community through local Internet resources.

CCPIT is China's national trade and investment promotion organization, founded in 1952.
