At the MTV Video Music Awards 2025 (MTV VMA 2025), famous singers such as Steven Tyler and Joe Perry from Aerosmith, Yungblud and Nuno Bettencourt performed a medley of three songs by British rock musician and Black Sabbath bandleader Ozzy Osbourne (real name John Michael Osbourne) in memory of him on September 7..

"Nuno Bettencourt, Joe Perry, Steven Tyler and Yungblud perform the legendary Ozzy Osbourne song Crazy Train," X wrote on the social network.

British rock musician Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22 at the age of 76. The singer had Parkinson's disease. In addition, he has suffered from other health problems in recent years, including complications from injuries sustained in a fall in 2019.

The farewell to the rock musician, attended by thousands of his fans, took place on July 30. The police specifically blocked off the central territory of Birmingham, which is native to the musician. Osbourne himself wanted his funeral not to be a sad event, and during his lifetime he urged his fans to celebrate the triumph of life and remember his career.

Osborne was buried on July 31 in the garden of his family mansion in Buckinghamshire. Fans of the musician took part in the funeral procession, and a limited circle of people attended the funeral itself: relatives, close friends and other musicians and performers, including Elton John, James Hetfield from Metallica, Marilyn Manson, punk singer Yungblud, Rob Zombie and guitarist Zakk Wilde.
