Joint exercises with the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) "Interaction-2025", which were attended by military personnel from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, have ended at the Losvido training ground in the Republic of Belarus. This was announced on September 7 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
During the maneuvers, actions were practiced to block and destroy illegal armed formations. Russian paratroopers demonstrated the assault and mopping up of a simulated enemy stronghold using FPV drones, ATVs and armored vehicles.
"The situation was as close to combat as possible. Imitation weapons, drone strikes and training ammunition were used," the Defense Ministry stressed.
At the closing ceremony, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin and Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Andrei Serdyukov noted the high level of cooperation between the units and presented awards to the participants.
The ministry stressed that over 2,000 military personnel and about 450 pieces of equipment, including aircraft and more than 70 drones, took part in the exercises.
Earlier, on September 4, it was reported about Russian military personnel who, as part of the exercises, practiced actions to block the area where illegal armed formations (IAF) are stationed, their further destruction and the release of hostages from among the civilian population.
