Kolpakov spoke about the support of youth programs in Russia

The Russian Foreign Ministry, together with Rossotrudnichestvo, continues to expand opportunities for young people by supporting new initiatives and programs. This was announced on September 6 by the head of the Department for International Sports, Youth Cooperation and Tourism (DMGC). Russian Foreign Ministry Konstantin Kolpakov at the session "Dialogue without Borders: Youth Initiatives of Russia and China at the Youth Forum "Day of the Future" within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF-2025).

"As for tools and support, of course, their number is also growing from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Rossotrudnichestvo agency. There are a number of programs," Kolpakov said.

According to him, at the moment, the development of international youth cooperation has become a priority for the Russian Federation, since it is the younger generation that will shape the foreign policy agenda.

Kolpakov also noted that colleagues from the Asia-Pacific region are very actively involved in the work of the International Association of Children's Organizations (MADO).

In addition, the expert spoke about the work of the World Youth Festival, which last year brought together more than 20,000 young people from all over the world. According to him, international friendship clubs have also been created within the framework of the event, which allow the guys to contact each other. In addition, the Ministry is currently cooperating with the Children and Youth movement, which has already united at least 13 countries in a year of existence.

Putin said on June 28 that Russia is developing dynamically, building and implementing plans for decades ahead thanks to the younger generation.
