It is impossible to have a dialogue with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. This was stated on September 6 by Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, during a press conference at the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (EEF 2025).

"It is impossible to have a dialogue with Zelensky," Kobyakov stressed.

The adviser to the President of the Russian Federation noted that the West could see this if it had "eyes and desire." In addition, Kobyakov added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have lost 1.8 million personnel since the beginning of the special military operation.

He stressed that the initiatives of US President Donald Trump to resolve the conflict could "result in a productive story" if the United States, for example, turned off the Starlink satellite connection.

"Everything would have ended right away," Kobyakov concluded.

On September 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin called on Zelensky to come to Moscow if he is ready for negotiations. The Russian leader clarified that he had never ruled out the possibility of a meeting with the Ukrainian president, but questioned the expediency of holding it.

On September 4, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga called unacceptable the Russian president's offer to the Ukrainian leader to come to Moscow for talks. According to him, at least seven countries are ready to host a meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and Russia to end the conflict, and Zelensky is ready for a meeting "at any moment" in the territories of other countries.

Later, on September 5, during the plenary session of the X WEF, Putin promised to provide working conditions and security for the leader of the Kiev regime to meet in Moscow.
