Drones of the Southern Military District destroyed an APU tank at the entrance to Dobropillya

Crews of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 56th separate special forces battalion of the 51st Guards Army of the Southern Military District eliminated a Ukrainian tank near the village of Dobropole. This was announced on September 6 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"We support the infantry on a daily basis: we constantly interact and help, we do everything to advance," said the UAV operator with the call sign Tobol.

According to the ministry, the coordinates of the target were transmitted by the assault groups of one of the brigades of the 51st army. After clarifying the situation, the operators of the FPV drones caught up with a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at the entrance to the settlement.

"With the first hit, the armored vehicle was penetrated and slowed down. The second one damaged the propulsion system, and the third one managed to cause a fire," the Defense Ministry said.

Drones in service with the Military Traffic Police will help search for saboteurs.

Earlier, on September 5, the Rosgvardiya special forces eliminated the AFU drone control point. According to the department, the enemy was located in a private house in one of the settlements. The detection took place with the help of aerial reconnaissance. The base was eliminated with precise blows from FPV drones.
