Szijjarto accused European countries of hypocrisy when buying oil from Russia
Hungary, unlike other European countries, buys Russian oil openly and does not resort to using workarounds. This was announced on September 5 by Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto.
"Hungary openly buys Russian oil because we have no other choice, while some European countries buy it secretly, in a roundabout way, because it's cheaper," Secretary of State for International Communications and Relations at the Hungarian Prime Minister's office Zoltan Kovacs quoted him as saying on the social network X (former. Twitter).
