78 TV channel will show live all SKA games in the new season - 2025/26

The famous city channel is firmly entrenched in the minds of St. Petersburg residents with local hockey. And this season, contrary to rumors, is no exception. On September 6, at 17:00, the 78 TV channel will open the SKA team's series of games by showing the match against the Shanghai Dragons. It will take place at the SKA Arena, the home ground for SKA opponents.

Andrei Shestakov, the voice of St. Petersburg hockey, will comment on the matches.

"I am very pleased that St. Petersburg TV viewers will not be left without hockey, after all, it is an important aspect in the life of our city - our tradition. Thanks again to everyone who participated in solving this issue. I would like to thank the fans separately. I have received many messages of support from them, and of course, for them, showing the SKA games on television is a great gift and joy," said Andrei Shestakov.

Let us remind you that St. Petersburg SKA has changed significantly during the offseason. The club presented a new logo and head coach — Igor Larionov took Roman Rotenberg's place.

It is worth noting that this season can be interesting for its unpredictability. According to the SKA press service, in addition to the coaching staff, the team has been significantly updated in the offseason. The army team was joined by players — Rocco Grimaldi, the winner of the 2013 World Youth Championship, Trevor Murphy, the top scorer among defenders last season, and Spartak striker Nikolai Goldobin.

On September 8, SKA will play an away match in Nizhny Novgorod with Torpedo, Igor Larionov's former team. Then the Army team will play their first home series at the Ice Palace, their rivals will be Traktor (September 11), Lada (September 14) and Dinamo Minsk (September 19).
