A dry grass fire occurred in the Simferopol region of the Republic of Crimea on an area of 50 hectares. This was announced on September 5 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"Firefighters are extinguishing a fire near the village of Klyuchi, Simferopol region. <...> Hot and windy weather is contributing to the rapid spread of the fire. The fire area is 50 hectares," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that 68 specialists and 19 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
Earlier, on August 31, a warehouse caught fire on Zvezdnaya Street in Balashikha, Moscow region. Mi-8 and Ka-32 helicopters were involved in extinguishing the fire. The fire was localized on 4 thousand square meters. m. Later, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on the elimination of the fire.
