The number of roads with musical markings has increased in Russia
New sections of roads with musical markings have appeared on the M-12 Vostok highway in the Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod regions. This was announced on September 5 by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin in his Telegram channel.
"Now, following from Moscow to Kazan and back, you can listen to Kalinka-Malinka three times. There is also a singing section on the M-11 Neva highway in the Leningrad Region," he said.
The state-owned Avtodor company is engaged in the implementation of transverse noise music bands. In the future, such sections may appear on other highways. It is noted that the lanes primarily serve as a reminder that it is necessary to keep attention on the road and not exceed the speed limit. The markings are designed to help drivers stay awake at the wheel and increase their attention, which helps reduce the number of accidents.
The application of such markings on roads as part of the experiment began last fall, for the first time it appeared on 653 km of the M-11 Neva. In order to translate strokes into notes and implement musical markup, specialists of the Avtodor-Engineering subsidiary developed special software using the immersion technology laboratory.
On October 7 last year, it became known that a music road appeared in Belarus in the Gomel region. When driving along it, a noise effect occurs in the car interior, which resembles the melody of the song "Belarus" performed by the Pesnyary group. The development of the music road was carried out by RUE Gomelavtodor together with the State Traffic Inspectorate.
