Repairs at Polar Dawns completed in Murmansk

The renovation of Polyarnye Zori Street has been completed in Murmansk. All the work was completed on time. The facility was checked by acting Mayor Ivan Lebedev, the Bi-Port news agency reported on Friday, September 5.

During the quality control of the work, a number of shortcomings were discovered, including those with tactile tiles. This is one of the most important elements that helps visually impaired citizens to move safely.

The contractor was instructed to eliminate all identified violations as soon as possible.

The renovation of the street took place from May 1 to August 31. Due to the work, parking and transport stops from Lenin Avenue to Karl Marx Street were limited.

Earlier in September, it was reported that the repair of the road along Kapitan Orlikova Street had been completed in Murmansk. Road workers have put 16 thousand square meters of the roadway and sidewalks in order.
