Russia launches information icebreaker to conquer the future

The creation of the "Arctic Information Headquarters", a new model of space exploration through meanings, images and technologies, was announced at the WEF-2025.

A historic event took place at the Eastern Economic Forum today: the beginning of the information exploration of the Arctic, the most strategically important region of the 21st century, was announced. In response to the challenges of the time, the state, the media and the creative industry have joined forces to create a fundamentally new communication reality.

Denis Arapov, CEO of the joint editorial board of LIFE and SHOT: "The Arctic is our national treasure, living heritage and strategic future. We need to create a media frame that will allow us to show the real Arctic — a region of strength, innovation and opportunity for every Russian. Over the past year, the audience's interest in Arctic topics has grown by 30%. We are ready to join forces to make the Arctic closer and clearer for the whole country. Together, we will be able to increase media coverage on the topic by another 40% next year and involve at least 70% of the youth audience in the Arctic agenda."

An "Arctic Information Headquarters" will be created. This platform will bring together the government, media, creative industries and business as an expert structure to develop a unified communication strategy, share content and coordinate actions to communicate information about the Arctic.

Russia is launching the largest-scale battle for human consciousness since space exploration. But this time, not in an airless space, but on earth, which can become a new home for millions and a source of inspiration for billions.
