Novorossiysk teachers will receive one-time payments of 0.5 million rubles

Novorossiysk is launching a pilot project aimed at attracting teachers of scarce specialties to work in municipal schools. Teachers are promised a one-time payment of 0.5 million rubles for admission to work at the school.

Additional payment is expected for teachers of mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology and the Russian language if they have not worked at school in the last two years and have not worked in educational institutions in Novorossiysk, KP-Kuban reports.

Elena Vorobyeva, Minister of Education of the Krasnodar Territory, spoke about the pilot project. According to her, there is a shortage of teachers of exact sciences and natural sciences, as well as teachers of the Russian language in the cities and districts of the region.
