Oreshkin pointed out the impact of economic ties with China on the economy of the Far East

The expansion of economic ties between Russia and China has a great impact on the economy of the Far East. This was stated on September 5 by Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Russia, on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), answering a question from Izvestia.

"The Far East is the part of Russia that is closest to the Asia-Pacific region. It is close to China and other countries in the region. And it is clear that any expansion of economic ties between Russia and China has a very big impact on the economy of the Far East," Oreshkin said.

He noted that this region is already showing high growth rates. According to the deputy head of the presidential administration, the Far East is significantly ahead of the rest of Russia in terms of economic indicators, new investments and other criteria.

In addition, Oreshkin drew attention to the fact that the implementation of major infrastructure projects in the energy and logistics sectors will become the main engine of the region's economic growth.

"All this, of course, will give a new and very great impetus to the Russian Far East, which is indeed already becoming not just one of the leaders of Russia's economic growth as a whole, but will actually enhance this role in advanced areas and technological areas," said the deputy head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.
