Three children died in a fire in the Sverdlovsk region.

In the Sverdlovsk region, in the village of Zlatogorov, a private house caught fire, in which a family was staying at that moment. Three children could not escape and died. The incident was reported on September 5 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"At the time of the fire, there was a family in the house: parents and seven children. Adults and four minors were able to leave the house on their own before the arrival of firefighters: three children are in the hospital. Unfortunately, the other three children aged 5, 7 and 11 died," the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.

The fire was extinguished on an area of 60 sq. m.

According to the preliminary version, the cause of the fire was an emergency operation of electrical equipment.

Earlier, on September 2, it was reported that in the Yemelyanovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a woman died as a result of a fire in a country house. The fire occurred on the territory of the Cedar farm. A garden house caught fire, and in the process, the roof and walls of the building collapsed.
