The farewell ceremony for Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani will be held in Milan on September 6 and 7. This was reported by the ANSA news agency.

"In accordance with Armani's wish, the funeral will be held behind closed doors," the publication says.

According to the agency, the ceremony will be held at the Armani/Teatro fashion house exhibition center.

Armani passed away earlier in the day at the age of 91.
