More than 18 thousand applications were received for the fifth season of Knowledge.Prize

The main educational award of the country is Knowledge.The award attracted 18,730 applications from 89 regions of Russia and 40 foreign countries. Maxim Dreval, Director General of the Russian Society Znanie, summed up the results of the jubilee season's bid campaign on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.

The top ten in terms of the number of applications were Moscow (2,144), St. Petersburg (947), Krasnodar Territory (722), Moscow Region (681), Samara Region (671), Rostov Region (468), Sverdlovsk Region (412), Republic of Dagestan (363), Republic of Tatarstan (359), Republic of Bashkortostan (358). The Primorsky Territory (Far Eastern Federal District) and the Novosibirsk Region (Siberian Federal District) also became the first in their federal districts.

There are 11,848 educators, 6,245 projects and 637 companies among the participants. Applications from citizens of 15 countries were received for the first time: Abkhazia, Australia, Armenia, Hungary, Vietnam, Cyprus, Latvia, Malaysia, Panama, Peru, Togo, Ukraine, Croatia, Czech Republic, South Ossetia.

"This year, Knowledge.The Award celebrates its first anniversary. And at this turn, the project covered all the continents of our planet. In addition, in the fifth season, we received a record number of applications from Russian companies: their number doubled compared to last year. This proves that more and more organizations in our country are engaged in education, and they are doing it at a level worthy of the attention of a wide audience and the country's leadership. The age range of the project participants has also expanded: for the first time, educators from 12 to 88 years old compete in one season. We are looking forward to seeing which of them will be the strongest," said Maxim Dreval, General Director of the Russian Society Znanie.

The most popular nominations among Russians were: "For educational activities in an educational organization" (2,950 applications), "For contribution to preserving the memory of the exploits of the defenders of the Fatherland" (2,919 applications) and "For contribution to education in the field of "Training and Mentoring" (2,836 applications).

"I would like to note that the three most popular nominations were introduced only this season. We are glad that they immediately found such a response from applicants of various levels: from heroes of the SVO and heads of regional authorities to rural educators who are key figures in the social and cultural life of small settlements," Maxim Dreval emphasized.

By November, the Expert Council will select a shortlist of awards in 15 nominations. The nominees will undergo online public speaking training to prepare for a face-to-face defense of their educational activities before an Honorary Jury. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony in 2026.

Also, in the fifth season, regional awards ceremonies for Knowledge will be held for the first time.Award: the best educator and the best educational project of the year will be determined in each subject of the Russian Federation. The main criterion is the contribution to the educational activities of your region. The winners will receive award-winning Knowledge cubes.Prize.
