A child with cancer was transported from Beijing to Moscow, and his condition is assessed as satisfactory. This was announced on September 4 by Assistant Minister of Health of Russia Alexey Kuznetsov.
"The child was safely delivered from Beijing to Moscow and hospitalized at the Blokhin National Research Medical Center of the Russian Ministry of Health. Specialists are already conducting a comprehensive examination to determine treatment tactics," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
The day before, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin had sent a special flight of the Rossiya flight group to rescue a seriously ill boy who was in China. According to him, the child, who is suffering from cancer, was taken to China for treatment. However, despite the doctors' attempts, the boy's condition continued to deteriorate. Chinese experts recommended that he be urgently returned to Russia.
