The bureaucracies of the European Union (EU) countries are advancing their plans to circumvent national interests, because they have "canceled" history and cannot recognize the true facts. This is how the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, answered the corresponding question from Izvestia correspondent Alexandra Chigrinskaya at a briefing at the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (WEF 2025).
"It's a vicious circle, the only way out is to admit the story, stop lying — it would be useful for them," she said.
