Putin joked about Peskov at a press conference in China: lazy, doesn't want to work
Russian President Vladimir Putin jokingly called his press secretary Dmitry Peskov "lazy" during a press conference following his visit to China on September 3.
During the ongoing session of journalists' questions, the Kremlin's official representative said that the dialogue could be delayed. In turn, Putin noted that the press conference would end soon.
"Lazy guy. He doesn't want to work. He doesn't do anything, he stands next to me, and he's lazy," the president joked, addressing his press secretary.
On the same day, Putin completed an official four-day visit to China. During the press conference, the Russian leader called the result of his trip to China positive. Following the talks, Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping signed more than 20 documents on bilateral cooperation between the two countries. According to the Russian leader, Moscow is ready to maintain strategic cooperation with Beijing and strengthen high-level contacts. In addition, Putin noted that the military parade on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the victory over militaristic Japan in Beijing was brilliant.
