The military parade in China, held in Beijing on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory over militaristic Japan and the end of World War II, has ended. Izvestia publishes the full broadcast of the solemn event on Wednesday, September 3.

The event was attended by more than 20 world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. Hundreds of units of various military equipment and weapons were demonstrated during the parade.

At the beginning of the parade, Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping greeted World War II veterans.

New types of Chinese military equipment were presented at the parade. So, there was a column of underwater equipment in the formation, heavy torpedoes and underwater mines capable of independently hitting up to four targets were demonstrated in it.

The participants of the ceremony were also shown three types of unmanned vehicles: infantry, marine and air. The column of aerial vehicles included deck-mounted unmanned helicopters, attack drones and unmanned aircraft. Such developments were created for conducting air operations and are capable of delivering invisible strikes against the enemy.
