US President Donald Trump said on September 2 that 11 people died as a result of a strike on a ship allegedly carrying drugs from Venezuela in the Caribbean Sea.
"The US armed forces have attacked precisely identified drug terrorists from the Tren de Aragua in the area of responsibility of the Southern Command of the US Armed Forces (SOUTHCOM). <...> As a result of the strike, 11 terrorists were killed," he wrote on his Truth Social network.
