Cardiologist Andrey Kondrakhin said that it is worth approaching the child's health check carefully, since many diseases may not give obvious signs for a long time.

In conversation with aif.ru On Tuesday, September 2, the doctor noted that the requirement to bring a child's health certificate to school should be taken seriously. According to him, children grow up and can get sick, while many diseases do not have obvious symptoms.

He added that the child's activity and external health still do not guarantee the absence of problems. Kondrakhin also stressed the importance of informing teachers about possible health conditions that require a special approach.

On September 1, doctor Leila Namazova-Baranova pointed out the ability of the common cold to reduce learning. According to her, nasal congestion should not be allowed to take its course. Sending a child to school in this condition is also not worth it, notes 360.ru .

In August, virologist Georgy Vikulov urged Russians to get vaccinated and not be afraid of meningitis. In an interview with NSN, he said that Russia has had a national vaccination calendar with recommendations for children and adults for more than 20 years. Meningococcal infection is not included in the mandatory list, but vaccination is carried out according to epidemiological indications, most often for risk groups — young children and people with immunodeficiency. There are several vaccines available for this disease in the country, and vaccination remains the most reliable method of protection.

According to experts, vaccination against influenza should be carried out before the onset of an increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections. This is due to the fact that it takes two to three weeks for the body to form full-fledged immunity after vaccination, RT notes.

Internist Viktor Lishin warned that a healthy lifestyle is of great importance for the prevention of any viral infections. The main thing is to ensure high—quality sleep: men need about 7 hours, and women at least 8 for a full recovery of the body, reports "Moscow 24".

Also in August, a seasonal vaccination campaign was launched in the Moscow region. In order to get vaccinated against influenza, you need to contact the polyclinic at the place of attachment, the Moscow City News agency reports.

Earlier Pravda.Ru She wrote that a set of simple measures would help protect against the flu: get vaccinated, wash your hands more often, avoid mass events during epidemics if possible, regularly ventilate rooms, wear a mask next to those who are ill and maintain immunity through proper nutrition, vitamins and physical activity. The flu vaccine is updated annually as the virus is constantly changing.
