Analysts named the leaders in the purchase of housing among the zodiac signs

Aries and Leo are the leaders in purchases in the business and premium class segments. This was reported to Izvestia on September 3 by PIONEER, which conducted a study of consumer preferences among representatives of different zodiac signs.

PIONEER has identified interesting trends in consumer preferences in the real estate market. In 2025, the fire signs — Aries and Leo — became the leaders in terms of purchases in the business and premium class segments. Aries account for 10.8% of total sales in business class, Leo accounts for 10.3%, and Taurus closes the top three with 9.4%.

According to the study, representatives of Aries and Leo most often turn to mortgage loans, preferring to purchase apartments with finished finishes. While Scorpios tend to choose installments and apartments without decoration. In addition, preferences in terms of the number of rooms in an apartment also vary depending on the sign: Aries most often purchase single apartments, Leo — double, and Gemini choose three-room options.

"The attractiveness of high—quality housing with a well-thought-out concept covers all the signs of the zodiac, but we noticed that different elements show unique preferences in choosing housing," commented PIONEER.

In the premium segment, the leaders are also Leo, who account for 9.4% of the total number of purchases, followed by Virgo with a score of 9.7%. Aries, Crayfish and Pisces are in third place with 8.6%. Virgo often resorts to mortgage and installment payments, while Leo prefers to pay the full cost of housing immediately. In addition, Virgo shows versatility in the choice of finishes, choosing both apartments with and without ready-made repairs, and Leo, in turn, demonstrates a clear interest in real estate in the white box format.

"The activity of Leo and Aries in the premium segment can be explained by their nature. Lions value scale, prestige and status, for them housing is not only a place to live, but also a symbol of position in society. Aries are characterized by their impulsiveness and desire to make decisions quickly, which is reflected in their choice of top real estate properties," explained astrologer Daria Bruin.

Demand test: sales of new buildings in some regions have halved

Developers hope for a reduction in the key interest rate and targeted expansion of preferential mortgage programs.

On September 1, it was reported that buyers in the mass-market of new buildings in Moscow are demonstrating a growing demand for more spacious one-bedroom apartments. So, over the past year, the share of buyers interested in "one-bedroom apartments" ranging from 33 to 38 square meters has increased by 3.5%, reaching 56.4% of total sales. Apartments from 38 to 43 square meters also showed a noticeable increase — demand for them increased by 2%, and their share amounted to 22.5%.
