The doctor named five regions of Russia with a high life expectancy
The list of regions with high life expectancy includes Ingushetia, Dagestan, Moscow, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia. This was announced on September 1 by the chief physician of the Institute of Longevity with the Clinic of Rehabilitation and Preventive Medicine of the Russian National Research Center. According to her, the center, together with Italian professor Claudio Franceschi, is conducting a study on the influence of regional factors on a person's biological age. Based on the data, a map of Russia's longevity will be compiled.
"The study is not finished yet. Nevertheless, for 2025, among the regions of Russia with a low life expectancy are the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Amur Region, the Irkutsk Region and the Trans—Baikal Territory. And among the regions of Russia with a high life expectancy are Ingushetia, Dagestan, Moscow, Kabardino—Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia," Reshetova said in an interview"Газете.Ru ".
She added that differences in indicators are influenced by the lifestyle of the population, environmental conditions and genetics.
