The Russian military destroyed the control cabin and the launcher of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) manufactured by the United States of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on September 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"The launcher of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, the AN/MPQ-65 multifunctional radar station, the control cabin and the launcher of the Patriot anti—aircraft missile system manufactured in the United States were destroyed," the report says.
