The most affordable crossovers and SUVs in Russia are named

The average price of a used crossover (SUV) in Russia in the summer of 2025 was 1.5 million rubles, which is 7.4% less than last summer. Avito Auto experts told Izvestia about this on September 1.

Chevrolet brand cars turned out to be the most affordable: the average price of crossovers of this brand was 510 thousand rubles (-7.9% per year). The second place in the price rating is occupied by Lada SUVs (520 thousand rubles). Suzuki closes the top three with an average price of 899 thousand rubles (-10% since last summer). Also among the five most affordable were Nissan with a price of 1.2 million rubles (-7.7%) and Renault (1.23 million rubles; -12.2%). The latter brand maintains a stable position in the middle price segment, largely due to the Duster model, analysts noted.

At the same time, Lada 4x4 (Niva) remains the leader in accessibility among the models: The average price for it is 360 thousand rubles, which is 4% less than a year earlier. In second place is Chery Tiggo (T11) with an average price of 370 thousand rubles. Compared to last summer, the average price for it decreased by 15.9%. Chevrolet Niva closes the top three, which costs 455 thousand rubles on average (-9%).

The Suzuki Grand Vitara (850 thousand rubles) and Lada Niva Legend (940 thousand rubles) also entered the top of the most affordable. Both models have fallen in price over the year: the first — by 10.5%, the second — by 5.5%. The top ten was rounded out by Nissan Juke, Renault Duster, Mitsubishi ASX, Subaru Forester and Lada Niva Travel.

Earlier that day, it was reported that seven car brands had rewritten the price lists for new cars in August 2025. Of these, only one has raised car prices — the domestic Amberauto.

On August 28, it became known that the leader of the rating of the most popular crossovers in the Russian secondary market for the first seven months of 2025 is the Toyota RAV4, excluding the VAZ Niv in the SUV segment.
