Temporary restrictions have been lifted at Kazan and Samara airports

Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft at the airports of Kazan and Samara have been lifted. This was announced on September 1 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"Kazan, Samara (Kurumoch) — temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been lifted," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Korenyako clarified that the time restrictions were introduced to ensure flight safety. Also, during the period of restrictions, two planes flying to Tatarstan and four planes flying to Samara were sent to alternate airfields.

He also added that the aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services have taken all necessary measures to ensure flight safety.
