On September 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin briefly spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi before the meeting of the leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states at the Meijiang International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Their conversation took place on the sidelines, representatives of the three countries were talking animatedly and laughing in the presence of translators, the Kremlin's press service publishes footage of the conversation on the Telegram channel.
