A Ukrainian who threatened to set fires was deported from Poland
The Polish authorities have decided to deport a Ukrainian who threatened to set fire to Polish homes on social media. The reason for such statements was the cancellation by Polish President Karol Nawrocki of the extension of social assistance for Ukrainian citizens. This was announced on August 31 by the head of the republic's Interior Ministry, Marcin Kervinsky.
"This is the end of the story: a citizen of Ukraine who threatened arson in videos posted on the Internet was forcibly brought and deported to Ukraine by border guards," Kervinsky wrote on the social network X.
Wiadomosci, citing Warsaw police, reported on August 29 that Polish law enforcement agencies had arrested a Ukrainian citizen for posting threats on a social network to set fire to houses related to the cancellation of social benefits for unemployed Ukrainians.
Earlier, on August 25, Polish President Karol Nawrocki vetoed a bill implying the extension of special status and benefits for refugees from Ukraine. The Polish leader also proposed limiting the access of unemployed Ukrainian refugees to free medical insurance.
