Two people died in an accident with a moose in the Novosibirsk region
In the Novosibirsk region, on the territory of the Chulymsky district, two people died as a result of an accident caused by a collision with an elk. This was announced on August 31 by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
"Driver, <..."while moving along the R-254 highway from Novosibirsk towards Omsk, <...> I ran over a wild animal (moose) that was running across the road," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is specified that after a collision with an animal, the driver drove into a ditch and collided with a tree. The driver and his passenger died on the spot from their injuries.
Traffic police officers are working at the scene of the accident. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
On August 30, the press service of the main directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Leningrad Region reported that one person was killed and another was hospitalized as a result of an accident. It was clarified that an inspection was being carried out on the fact of the accident.
