Rostov drew with Akhmat in the match of the seventh round of the Russian Premier League

Football club (FC) Rostov drew with FC Akhmat in the match of the 7th round of the group stage of the Russian Premier League (RPL) Cup of Russia. The match took place on August 30 at the Rostov Arena in Rostov-on-Don and ended with a score of 1:1.

Akhmat's striker, 28-year-old Georgy Melkadze, opened the scoring (45+4th minute), and Rostov's 21-year-old defender Viktor Melekhin (73rd) equalized in the second half. The goal scored was Melekhin's debut in the RPL, with 85 matches in the tournament.

During the game, Akhmat midfielder Manuel Keliano, 22, was sent off for the second yellow card he received in the second half minute.
