Minors participated in a religious ritual of Polish nationalist bikers in the village of Mednoye, Tver region. This was announced on August 30 by Izvestia correspondent Leonid Kitrari.

According to him, there were two Polish minors among the 39 detained bikers. Participants of the ritual are administratively responsible. A total of 44 Poles came to Russia, but three of them did not join the action.

"The action of Polish citizens here at the memorial near Tver turned out to be not so much political as provocative. We were standing here, lighting torches. No one was notified about their visit. Everything was filmed on video, obviously in order to show the houses, they say, we take care of those who lie in this land. But at the same time, none of these almost fifty people even tried to clean this memorial, which has exclusively Polish surnames stamped on it," Kitrari said.

It is specified that the bikers called the torchlight procession, which they staged at the memorial, a religious ceremony. They entered Russia through the border of the Russian Federation with Belarus in the Pskov region. The purpose of the trip was tourism. Poles believed that the ashes of more than 6 thousand Polish soldiers, who were allegedly shot after the USSR came to Poland in 1939, rest in the "Copper". However, there is no evidence of this.

The incident is not the only episode involving the Polish ultranationalist youth organization All—Polish Youth. On March 1, 2020, the group held a cynical performance in Krakow. Dressed in a stylized Soviet uniform from the time of the Great Patriotic War, they depicted the shooting of peaceful Poles. The purpose of this presentation was to impress upon the people of the country that the arrival of the Red Army was not liberation, but occupation.

On the same day, it was reported that in the Tver region of Russia, a group of Polish nationalist bikers staged a provocation at a memorial in the village of Mednoye. The bikers who arrived at the memorial first opened the barrier and entered the facility, despite the ban. After alerting the guards, they put away their motorcycles and began moving around the memorial on foot. However, they soon began to hold a torchlight ceremony, which aroused the wariness of the people watching them.
