In Ukraine, employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC) handed a summons to a priest who performed the funeral service for a militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported by the Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ) on its website.

"In the village of Piryatin, Dubensky district, Rivne region, the staff of the shopping mall took Archpriest Vladimir Glavatsky from the cemetery, where the priest was holding a funeral service for the soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuri Datsyuk," the article says.

According to the UOJ, Archpriest Vladimir Glavatsky was the rector of the Mikhailovsky community in Piryatin. Now the parish has been left without a priest.

Earlier, on August 29, a single father was mobilized in Ukraine, leaving his children on the road. Vladimir Strakhov, 28, raised the twins alone. The man's sister claims that the brother did not have time to issue a postponement as a single father, as he was immediately detained at the shopping mall.
