KAMAZ's profit for the first half of 2025 was replaced by a loss of 30.9 billion rubles, which contrasts with a profit of 3.672 billion rubles recorded in the same period last year. This is stated in a document on the company's website.

According to the results of the first half of the year, the financial performance of the KAMAZ company deteriorated. Revenue decreased by 18% and reached almost 154 billion rubles. The cost of sales amounted to 137.9 billion rubles, which is 10% less than a year earlier.

As a result, gross profit decreased by more than two times, amounting to 16.02 billion rubles. The company also moved from an operating profit of about 15 billion rubles a year earlier to an operating loss of 1,815 billion rubles.

Nevertheless, the net debt of KAMAZ was reduced to 141.8 billion rubles from 163 billion rubles at the end of the previous year.

Sales revenue decreased in all segments with the exception of finance leases. The decline in finances was the result of a drop in the truck market by almost 60% and the monetary policy of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

The head of AVTOVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, said on February 25 that due to the decline in the car market in Russia at the beginning of this year, the total stocks of finished Lada cars reached 100 thousand units. In his opinion, the situation in the Russian car market is very alarming.
