The explosion occurred in a multi-storey building in Tula, a girl was injured. This was announced on August 29 in the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tula region.
"In one of the apartments of a multi-storey building on Kutuzova Street, there was a loud bang. As a result of the incident, a 23-year—old resident of Tula was taken to a medical facility with injuries," the department's Telegram channel says.
According to the Izvestia source, the victim was hospitalized with multiple shrapnel wounds to her legs. Previously, there was a quarrel between the man and his roommate, and he detonated a grenade. It is noted that the man had a previous criminal record. The details of the incident are being clarified.
Earlier, on August 21, in the Kirovsky district of the Leningrad region, an 11-year-old boy died as a result of an explosion of an unknown object under a campfire in the forest. He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition, but the boy died of blood loss on the way to a medical facility.
