The Made in Russia Festival has started in Beijing

The Made in Russia festival is taking place in Beijing, where Russian manufacturers of food, cosmetics, souvenirs and handicrafts are represented. The event will last until August 30th.

"I have always admired Chinese culture, its rich history and traditions. The love and support of the Chinese fans <...> inspires me every day," Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva, world junior champion and world record holder, said at the opening ceremony.

The festival hosts cultural events representing the culture of Russia. These include concerts with folk music and dancing, as well as cooking classes.

The festival visitors stressed the importance of the event for the development of relations between Russia and China and noted the friendly attitude of the Russians.

Earlier, on August 27, it was reported that the retrodetective "Red Silk" became the headliner of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) film Week in Qingdao. The film will premiere in China at the main cinema of China Film Group on September 4, and it will be released in China on the 6th. Cinity technology is going to be used at the screening, which allows for full immersion in the film.
