The Russian side is actively cooperating with representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the embassy from Kyrgyzstan to rescue Natalia Nagovitsina, a climber from the Russian Federation, who is stuck on Victory Peak. This was announced on August 29 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Of course, the Russian authorities, both through our embassy and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, have their own well-established channels for cooperation with our Kyrgyzstani friends. They are in full contact, they synchronize their actions. You know that our friends made desperate efforts to save this climber," he said during a briefing.
