From the world of animals: the shooting in Minneapolis was committed by a neo-Nazi

On Wednesday morning, August 27, an armed attack took place at a Catholic school and church in Minneapolis (USA; Minnesota), during which two children were killed and 17 others were injured. In the United States, the incident was called an act of domestic terrorism and a hate crime against Christians. The Western media has already announced that the attack could have been politically motivated, while the perpetrator has already been linked to neo-Nazis and Satanists. Robert Westman: What is known about the connection with neo-Nazis and Satanists

On Wednesday, August 27, a Catholic school and a church were attacked in Minneapolis. As a result, two children aged eight and ten were killed, and 17 others were injured. During the investigation, it became known that the perpetrator was transgender (the LGBT movement is recognized as extremist in Russia) Robert Westman, who changed his name to Robin in 2020. In the United States, the incident was called terrorism, and it was also announced that it was committed on the grounds of hatred against Catholics. After committing the crime, Westman committed suicide.

The criminal had his own YouTube channel, where videos with weapons and a notebook were published, in which he apparently kept a diary. It shows phrases written in Westman's handwriting that have references to past mass murderers and terrorist acts, as well as Satanism (the "international Satanism movement" is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned).

Among these inscriptions, one can find references to radical extremist movements, attacks on mosques in New Zealand, and other mass killings around the world. Many of the phrases convey Westman's hatred of Jews, Christians, and blacks. The inscription on the criminal's weapon expressed his hatred of the modern political system in the United States: "Kill Donald Trump." However, it is unknown whether he was a Democrat. Among other things, a drawing of an inverted cross was found, and an image of Jesus Christ was glued to the board instead of a target.

In addition, part of the notebook was filled with English phrases in Cyrillic, among them:

— "long term gun owner" (long-time gun owner);

— "everest onli eun klos-rainj shutung lol" (shooting is interesting only from close range);

- "I don't want that! I am am goeung tu the fool!" (I don't want that! I'll shoot!).

In addition, misspelled inscriptions in Russian were found on the criminal's weapon.

Basically, the notebook described Westman's thoughts about the upcoming attack. He planned the crime in such a way as to avoid parents who could resist him; discussed that he could get shooting training, but there was no time for it; and also that he would go through with it. In these recordings, Westman also fantasizes that he is "a terrible monster standing over helpless children," and also admires the 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School (27 people were killed in an armed attack at the time).

Subsequently, information began to appear on the Web about Westman's alleged connections with the Satanic groups O9A (Order of Nine Angles; "Order of Nine Corners") and 764, which support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In April, Nikita Kasap, a 17-year-old US citizen, was arrested on suspicion of double murder and preparation for an assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Police found materials in the teenager's phone related to the Order of the Nine Corners, which the CIA and the FBI describe as a "decentralized group founded in the 70s in the UK that advocates a violent extremist interpretation of Satanism" and promotes the ideology of white supremacy.

Earlier, US Army soldiers Ethan Meltzer, who served in Italy, and Gerald Smith were arrested for preparing mass killings. The latter intended to join the neo-Nazi units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

More prone to violence

In 2023, a study was published according to which transgender youth are one of the most vulnerable groups to violent radicalization. In this context, political scientist and Americanist Malek Dudakov noted in his Telegram channel that more and more states have begun to ban sex reassignment surgery on minors. And transgender children's hospitals across America are going bankrupt.

"So there is hope that the campaign of transgender terror will still be curbed," he wrote.

Attack on a Catholic school in Minneapolis: what is known

The attack on the school was carried out at about 8:30 a.m. during a service dedicated to the first week of school. The criminal had several types of weapons — a rifle, a shotgun and a pistol. He opened fire on both children and parishioners with it.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara called the incident an unimaginable tragedy and said: "This was a deliberate act of violence against innocent children and other believers. The cruelty and cowardice of shooting at a church full of children is absolutely incomprehensible."

It is also important to note that there is currently a severe shortage of police officers in Minneapolis due to the BLM riot in 2020 after the murder of African-American George Floyd during the arrest of a police officer. Because of this, the crime rate has increased, and the police arrived late to the call.
