Forecasters predicted hot weather for the upcoming weekend in Moscow
On the weekend of August 30 and 31, Muscovites expect hot, mostly cloudy weather. There will be no significant precipitation on Saturday and Sunday. Yandex Weather analysts told Izvestia about this on August 29.
On Saturday, August 30, hot weather without precipitation is expected in Moscow during the day. The wind is south-westerly, with gusts up to 11 m/s.
"In the morning, the temperature will be +21 degrees, in the afternoon it will rise to +27 degrees, in the evening it will be about +25 degrees, and at night it will drop to +19 degrees," the forecasters said.
In the cities of the Moscow region, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, daytime temperatures will be around +26 degrees, and weather conditions will remain similar to those in the capital.
On Sunday, August 31, the hot weather with variable clouds will continue throughout the day. The wind is southwesterly and southerly, with gusts up to 8 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be +20 degrees, in the afternoon — about +27 degrees, in the evening it will drop to +25 degrees, and at night it will be about +19 degrees. In the Moscow region, the temperature background will be close to Moscow, in some places 1-2 degrees lower.
On August 21, Tatiana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Meteonosti news agency, announced the return of summer heat to the capital on Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31. She clarified that currently, according to forecasts, it is possible to declare the "curtain of summer."
