A minor was killed in a bus accident in the Orel region.

When a car collided with a bus in the Livensky district of the Orel region, a minor was killed, and another was hospitalized. This was reported on August 28 in the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.

It is specified that the incident occurred on the evening of August 27. The driver of the VAZ-2110 (Bogdan-2110) drove into the oncoming lane, where it is allowed, and collided with a PAZ bus driven by a driver born in 2002.

"As a result of the accident, minor passengers of the car were injured," the agency said in a statement on the VKontakte social network.

According to the press service, a teenager born in 2010 died, a passenger born in 2007 was hospitalized in a medical facility.

Earlier in the day, one person was killed and six injured in a collision between two cars in the Tomsk region. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region, the incident occurred in front of the village of Chernyshevka.
