Moscow enterprises have increased exports of food products

In the first six months of 2025, the revenue of food industry enterprises increased by 15.5% compared to the same period last year, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in the MACH messenger.

He noted that the food industry has been actively developing in recent years. "Enterprises are increasing their production capacities and introducing modern technologies," wrote the mayor of Moscow. He said that following the results of six months, enterprises whose production is localized in Moscow have increased exports of food products by 19%.

According to the mayor, there are more than 350 food industry enterprises operating in the city. Their revenue for the first six months amounted to 468 billion rubles. The three leaders were meat industry enterprises (102.1 billion rubles), factories producing bakery and flour confectionery products (68.1 billion), and beverage manufacturers (55.9 billion).

Sobyanin also recalled that a large-scale food cluster is being formed in the TiNAO. A meat processing plant distribution center will be built there, as well as enterprises producing bakery, dairy, confectionery, and ready meals. Their total area will be about 600 thousand square meters. m.
